Dr. Wingard took office on July 1, 2021. In his first year, he has focused on what he envisions for Temple and his strategic priorities, the university’s role as a leader in higher education, and how he will lead us toward bold, transformative opportunities.

The inauguration events celebrated our diverse, engaged and talented community, and Temple’s bright future as a world-class research institution, global center of academic excellence and Philadelphia’s public university.
